Feature Video: 140th Birthday of the LEVI’S 501

This week on Monday May 20th was the 140th Birthday of a American Icon the LEVI’S 501 blue jean and with that we thought it be more than appropriate to have this video montage of the history of the 501 be the Feature Video. When Levi Strauss partnered with tailor Jacob Davis in 1873 on a patent for riveted pockets on work pants for Western pioneers, they couldn’t have dreamed of it’s impact on modern culture.  The LEVI’S 501 button fly jean is the original and first ever blue jean born on May 20, 1873. And 140 years later, it is more popular and even more relevant to global culture and style than ever before. Take a moment and embrace this video and gain some perspective of the impact this denim has had, Enjoy!
