I went to the opening preview for the new Victorinox retail space in THE BEVERLY CENTER in Los Angeles. And I had no idea the brand was so extensive with everything you would want in the outdoor survival market. But what made a impact with me was the luxury items they have from timepieces to premium clothing like this beautiful men’s Captain’s Coat from the Remade in Switzerland Capsule Collection by Christopher Raeburn. People this is a must see, constructed from reappropriated Swiss wool coats dating back 60 years and lined with over-dyed surplus Swiss military cotton bed sheets. But I love how the hood hangs like wings on the back, amazing. In addition the possibility of seeing some other chap wearing this is slim because they only produced 100 of these and they are number as you can see in the image below.
