Mercedes Benz is always at the top of their game and you knew they were going to come hard in popular electric car market and this they did. They unveiled the 2013 SLS AMG E-CELL 2011 Detroit Auto Show the other day and this is no concept car it is going into production. This silent beast has 526 hp and 649 lb-ft of torque WOW! but it is heavy with its 3 big ass batteries. But can you imagine being stealth quiet with all that power at your feet its. This electric version is expected to cost somewhere around $183,000, which is identical to regular SLS AMG supercar’s price tag. The E-Cell will begin production in 2013.
