Last week we had the opportunity to be invited to the opening ceremony of the new Los Angeles retail destination SEIZE sur VINGT menswear hosted by ESQUIRE Network. SEIZE sur VINGT is a 1,100 square foot retail space of ready-to-wear and bespoke offerings that already has a space in NEW YORK. Founders James and Gwendolyn Jurney quoted in WWD that “Lightweight construction is our background. It is the southern Italian way, and that works for L.A.” I was impressed by so much of the ready to wear offerings, especially the shoes because that my weakness. But what makes this destination stand out is the 3-D camera to do the fittings so Seize sur Vingt tailors in Italy can understand each client’s exact shape. Mens market is rapidly growing in fashion and this will be a destination you will have to consider to maintain your fresh.
